Neutrosophy studies the origin, nature & scope of neutralities, and their interactions with
different notional spectra. it’s a brand new philosophy to increase the formal logic and is that the basis of neutrosophic logic, neutrosophic probability, neutrosophic set, and neutro-sophicstatistics.
Image segmentation is a key step for image processing, pattern recognition, computer vision. several existing ways for image description, classification, and recognition extremely rely upon the segmentation results.In this paper, neutrosophy is applied to image process by shaping a neutrosophic domain, that is delineated by 3 subsets T, I, and F. Then we employ watershed
algorithm to perform segmentation of the image within the neutrosophic domain.The experiments show that the projected technique will improve results comparing therewith obtained by the prevailing ways.
